Keep clearing your energy after your session and minimize potential effects with these simple suggestions…

Explore self-care.

Continue to release energy after your session by taking time to connect to your self.

Hydrate.

 

Water is a powerful electrical conductor. Drink 1 to 2 cups before and after your session and make sure you stay hydrated throughout the day. 

Journal.

 

Take a few minutes to record important thoughts or breakthroughs from your session. Don’t wait until you arrive home, jot it down after a session and before you move on with your day. 

Walk outside.

 

Sunlight and the energy of trees, plants, and flowers help to replenish your energy. Take a walk outside for 20-minutes weather permitting. Be present in the moment.

Take a salt water bath.

 

Salt water is a great electrical conductor. It allows subtle electricity enhanced during your session to dispel more easily. It also supports the body in detoxifying or releasing any chemical components of blockages released from the energy field. 

How to get the most out of your salt water bath? 

  • Mix 1 - 2 cups of epsom, sea, or himalayan salt into a warm water bath. 

  • Focus your breath and visualize it moving your energy.

  • Avoid watching Netflix or listening to podcasts that are distracting your mind from your energy. 

Ground/Earth.

 

Ground yourself by standing outside without shoes for 5 - 15 minutes. The earth’s surface has a negative charge and is constantly generating electrons that neutralize free radicals. This means grounding can serve as an antioxidant and is healthy for your energy flow. 

Lean into your emotions.

 

If emotions arise, lean into them and feel it so they can resolve and release completely. Remember, you have the right to experience emotions and that you are not your emotions. 

Give yourself permission.

 

Give yourself permission to begin living your authentic self, even in small ways. You may notice an impulse or thought to try something or do something a little differently than the way you are used to. This means the energy is starting to integrate into your physical, mental, emotional, and even spiritual bodies. As you follow your intuition overtime and make these changes, you will eventually find yourself living your authentic self.

Potential Effects

 

No one person experiences energy in the same way and every session is different. Most people feel light, calm, and relaxed after a session. However, there are some less common short-term reactions. 

Exhaustion and tiredness. This is most common with someone who has been running at full speed and is experiencing feelings of depletion. Give your body the rest it is asking for and take time to yourself.

Emotional release (e.g. crying a lot, experiencing anger or frustration, etc.). This is more common with those who have learned to avoid or bury emotions. Lean into these emotions and release, as described above.

In rare instances: a detox or flu-like feeling, headache or dizziness. Drink water, ground outside and/or take a salt water bath normally take care of this quickly. Please reach out to me if this does not pass within a day.

Regardless, any effect from your session is to be celebrated as it means the energy is working and balancing your body
